Basketball Recap: Happy Camp Gets the Win

Happy Camp's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 57-44 victory over the Surprise Valley Hornets. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their 29-point performance the matchup before.

Surprise Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Casey Grove, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Eichstadt, who posted 15 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Happy Camp's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Surprise Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Happy Camp has already played their next contest (against Butte Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Surprise Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 85-21 defeat against Hayfork on the 3rd.
