Basketball Recap: Drew Central Takes a Loss

Drew Central suffered their closest defeat since January 23rd on Friday. They fell just short of the Monticello Billies by a score of 45-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Pirates have suffered against the Billies since January 10, 2017.

Drew Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Monticello, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing White Hall the next time they take the court. Drew Central will host White Hall at 4:45 p.m. on December 28th, while Monticello will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
