Basketball Recap: Silas Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Silas, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the River Ridge Hawks by a score of 72-63 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-58 back in December of 2024.

River Ridge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Joaquin Garcia, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Wendell, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 12 points and seven assists.

Silas' victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for River Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10.

Silas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-45 defeat against Gig Harbor on the 8th. As for River Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-36 win against North Thurston on the 8th.
