Volleyball Recap: Xavier Has No Trouble Against Appleton North

Xavier not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Appleton North Lightning. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Xavier never let Appleton North on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-22.

Grace Hackl had an outrageously good game as she had 26 digs and four aces. Those 26 digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sydney Neilitz, who had five digs and four aces.

Xavier's victory bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Appleton North, they dropped their record down to 2-26 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Xavier has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Fox Valley Lutheran on the 2nd. As for Appleton North, they will take on Appleton East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
