Hagerstown came out on top against Monroe Central on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Tigers took their matchup against the Golden Bears 8-3. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Hagerstown's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Monroe Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hagerstown will square off against Tri at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monroe Central, they will take on Lapel at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Golden Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
