Bell is a perfect 3-0 against Countryside Christian since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. Bell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Bell blew Newberry out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Newberry got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Bell saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alaina Thomas, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Meanwhile, Countryside Christian beat First Christian 5-2 on Friday.

Kayley Mcleod spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Countryside Christian let Joy Sullivan and Riley Keith run wild. Sullivan scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3, while Keith went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Lillie Colon, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Bell's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Countryside Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Bell took their win against Countryside Christian in their previous meeting on Monday by a conclusive 19-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Minutemen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
