Pinelands Regional is 2-8 against Barnegat since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Bengals at 6:00 p.m. Pinelands Regional is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Friday, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Pinelands Regional made off with a 7-6 win over Long Branch.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 49 points the game before, Barnegat was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a blow against Freehold Township, falling 41-13. The Bengals haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Pinelands Regional's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Barnegat, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
