Blake and Gibbs squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Blake had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to the Gibbs Gladiators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gladiators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-62 back in January.

Despite the loss, Blake had strong showings from Jason Johnson, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 17 points and three steals, and Joe Philon, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Johnson's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Joshua Lewis was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.
