Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Marist walked away with it. They managed a 51-46 victory over the Marshfield Pirates on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Pirates on February 4th, they had to take a 68-55 loss.

Marist is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points over those games. Marshfield's defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-3.
