Football Recap: Standing Rock Takes a Loss

Standing Rock had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher Storm 79-6 on Saturday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Standing Rock will face off against rival Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock/Strasburg/Zeeland on Friday. Meanwhile, Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher is set to square off against their familiar foe Beach on Friday.
