Basketball Recap: Glenbrook Comes Up Short

Glenbrook lost against Lincoln Prep back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Glenbrook Apaches were beaten by the Lincoln Prep Panthers 72-20. The match marked the Apaches' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Glenbrook saw an underclassman step up: freshman Carson Powell posted 17 points. The game was Powell's 12th in a row with at least ten points.

This is the second loss in a row for Glenbrook and nudges their season record down to 3-13. As for Lincoln Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenbrook will face off against Ringgold at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ringgold's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Lincoln Prep, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lincoln Prep Panthers duke it out with the Cedar Creek Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
