Football Recap: Fairfield Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Fairfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the Tarrant Wildcats 27-13 on Friday. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Justin Murray had a dynamite game, rushing for 234 yards and three scores while picking up 10.6 yards per carry.

Murray was just one part of a punishing run game: Fairfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 253 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Fairfield's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Tarrant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Fairfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 43-18 defeat against American Christian Academy on the 19th. As for Tarrant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 43-13 loss against Pleasant Grove on the 19th.
