Basketball Recap: Lane Kyler Key Part of a Team Effort in Huskies Win

Pawhuska won the last time they faced Barnsdall and things went their way on Monday too. The Pawhuska Huskies came out on top against the Barnsdall Panthers by a score of 44-37.

Pawhuska's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lane Kyler, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. Dax Godsey was another key player, going 6 of 13 on his way to 12 points and six rebounds.

Pawhuska's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Barnsdall, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Pawhuska and Barnsdall could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Pawhuska (ranked 324th) will meet Luther (ranked 134th) at 12:20 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Barnsdall (ranked 361st) will meet Summit Christian Academy (ranked 38th) at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
