The team relied heavily on Sophie Casagrande, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Ta'Niyah Turner was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4.

The win got Jack Britt back to even at 1-1. As for Fairmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
