East Valley has gone a perfect 10-0 against Rogers recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Knights will face off against the Pirates at 12:00 p.m. Rogers took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on East Valley, who comes in off a win.

East Valley will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against North Central on Tuesday. The Knights blew past the Wolfpack 29-3. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by eight runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to Clarkston. The contest marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

East Valley has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.4 runs over those games. As for Rogers, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.

East Valley took their victory against Rogers when the teams last played on April 1st by a conclusive 13-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
