Soccer Recap: Mission Oak Takes a Loss

Mission Oak and Lindsay squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mission Oak had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lindsay Cardinals by a score of 4-3. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Aaden Vazquez and Alexander Gutierrez scored all three of Mission Oak's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 33 goals.

Mission Oak's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Lindsay, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-1 record this season.

Mission Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lindsay, they will welcome Redwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Redwood comes in on four and Lindsay on 12.
