Football Game Preview: Mt. Vernon/Plankinton vs. Chamberlain

After two weeks on the road, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton is heading back home. They hope to keep the momentum going despite having enjoyed some extra time before their next match against Chamberlain at 7:00 PM on Friday. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton are cruising in on a six-game winning streak while Chamberlain are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton came out on top in a nail-biter against Winner, sneaking past 30-28. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.

Last Friday, Chamberlain were close but not close enough as they fell 40-42 to Winner.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Chamberlain 52-0. Will Mt. Vernon/Plankinton repeat their success, or does Chamberlain have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
