Basketball Recap: Bristol Hill's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bonners Ferry over Sandpoint + How To Watch

Bonners Ferry lost against Sandpoint back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Badgers fell 54-41 to the Bulldogs.

Bonners Ferry's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bristol Hill, who posted eight points and four steals. Nolie Hiatt was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

Leading Sandpoint to victory were Jordyn Tomco and Livia Driggs. Tomco went 8-for-16 to rack up 19 points and three steals, while Driggs almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave Driggs a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Willow Betz, who earned six points and eight boards.

Bonners Ferry's record is now 0-2. As for Sandpoint, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Bonners Ferry and Sandpoint will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Badgers see the court they'll take on East Valley at 5:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Sandpoint, their break will end when they face Moscow at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
