Soccer Game Preview: Shadow Creek vs. South Houston

The Shadow Creek Sharks will venture away from home to square off against the South Houston Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Shadow Creek managed to slip by Pearland the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Shadow Creek lost 3-0 to Pearland on Friday. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Sharks struggled afterwards.

Meanwhile, South Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Pasadena Memorial, falling 10-1. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly nine goals.

Shadow Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4-2. As for South Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Everything went Shadow Creek's way against South Houston in their previous meeting back in February, as Shadow Creek made off with a 5-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shadow Creek since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
