Bandys has gone 8-2 against East Burke recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bandys Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the East Burke Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. Bandys is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

On Tuesday, Bandys came up short against West Lincoln and fell 9-6.

Landon Rinaman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, East Burke fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Maiden on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Maddox Mosteller was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Bandys' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for East Burke, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Bandys was able to grind out a solid win over East Burke when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 8-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bandys since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
