Grandview Heights entered their tilt with Fairbanks on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. Grandview Heights is undefeated when  Greer posts two or  more  runs, but 4-5 otherwise.
 Grandview Heights  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
Grandview Heights' victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 11-5. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Fairbanks,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-10.
 Coming up, Grandview Heights will venture away from home to  square off against Whitehall-Yearling  at 5:15  p.m.  on Friday. As for Fairbanks, they will welcome Southeastern Local  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
