Recap: Linganore Lancers vs. Oakdale
While it was all tied up 18-18 at halftime, the Linganore Lancers were not quite Oakdale's equal in the second half on Tuesday. Linganore fell to Oakdale 42-36. Linganore has not had much luck with Oakdale recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Linganore lost, one person who can't be blamed is Christian Petruzzello. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Dylan Hodgson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Linganore dropped their record down to 6-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Oakdale, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.
Linganore will be playing in front of their home fans against Westminster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oakdale won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Catoctin on January 24th.
