Basketball Recap: Bunn Skates Past Beddingfield with Ease

Bunn hadn't done well against Beddingfield recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Wildcats really took it to the Bruins for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-28 win. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 61-56 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bunn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaac Bailey, who went 10-for-16 to rack up 21 points. Bailey is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season. Josiah Rice was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.

Bunn has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 58.0 points this season. As for Beddingfield, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bunn will head out to face off against Franklinton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Rams have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Beddingfield, they are taking a road trip to challenge North Johnston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
