Elizabeth waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past the Sierra Stallions 17-1. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by eight runs or more this season.

Faith Carlson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aurelia Espinoza, who fired off three triples, five RBI, and two runs while going 3-for-3. Braelyn Allison was another key player, going 1-for-1 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI.
