Oglethorpe County scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 73-57 bruising from the Elbert County Blue Devils. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Aj Brown was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 33 points and ten rebounds for Elbert County. With that strong performance, Brown is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Grady Jones, who posted 17 points.

Oglethorpe County's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Elbert County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.
