Football Recap: Oxnard Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Oxnard's offense. They were dealt a 62-0 defeat at the hands of the Pacifica Tritons on Friday. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Tritons recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Adrian Guerra threw for 35 yards on four of 13 attempts. Jayven Aranda was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards.

Taylor Lee was a one-man wrecking crew For Pacifica. as he threw for 221 yards and three TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 45 yards and a pair of scores. Alijah Royster was another key player, picking up 119 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Oxnard's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pacifica, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxnard will take on Bellflower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pacifica, they will be playing at home against Newbury Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
