Football Recap: Cary Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cary can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 14-13 to the Ashley Screaming Eagle. The Imps' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Despite the loss, Cary still got an impressive performance from Nick Grena, who rushed for 63 yards and a pair of scores.

Bryson Lovelace was his usual excellent self, rushing for 122 yards and two touchdowns for Ashley.

Cary's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Ashley, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.

As of now, neither Cary nor the Screaming Eagle have any future games scheduled.
