Basketball Recap: Three Straight Home Victories for Parkwood

Parkwood extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jordan Vaughn. The Parkwood Wolf Pack managed a 74-70 win over the West Stanly Colts on Tuesday thanks in part to Vaughn, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 19 rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.4 boards per game.

Another player making a difference was Izabella Delli Colli, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 16 points. Those 16 points gave her a new career-high.

Parkwood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for West Stanly, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Parkwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-13 victory against Central Academy on the 29th. As for West Stanly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-44 win against Piedmont on the 29th.
