O'Neill entered their tilt with Pierce on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Pierce Bluejays by a score of 11-8. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played on September 5th.

O'Neill let Loretta Scofield and Brooklyn Cahoy loose on the outfield. Scofield scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Cahoy scored two runs while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Cahoy a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Dani Rowse, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, O'Neill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That's a new trend for them: their average batting average was 23.2% earlier this season, but in their last ten matches they've averaged 32.9%.

O'Neill's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Pierce, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-13.

O'Neill will take on Guardian Angels Central Catholic on Tuesday. As for Pierce, they will venture away from home to challenge Twin River on Tuesday. Pierce is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
