Triad Baptist Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 86-67 win over the North Hills Christian Eagles. The victory was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won seven matchups in a row dating back to last season.

Jayden Pringle went supernova, going 13-for-20 on his way to 34 points. Those 34 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Manley, who shot 73% from the field to rack up 21 points.

When it comes to explaining why North Hills Christian lost, don't look at Maverick Ball. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-20 en route to 31 points and eight boards. Ball has been hot, having posted 17 or more points the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Luke McLauglin, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

North Hills Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Triad Baptist Christian Academy will challenge Vandalia Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Titans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for North Hills Christian, they will head out to face off against Covenant Classical at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
