Basketball Recap: Sage Ridge Scorpions vs. Smith Valley Bulldogs
Sage Ridge lost against Smith Valley back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sage Ridge Scorpions had to suffer through a 72-39 loss at the hands of the Smith Valley Bulldogs. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Sage Ridge still got an impressive performance from Taylor Sullins, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 16 points along with six boards and three steals. Raghav Bhalla was another key player, putting up eight points.
Sage Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Smith Valley, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-1.
