Recap: Daniel Boone Trailblazers vs. Sullivan East Patriots
The Daniel Boone Trailblazers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Sullivan East by a score of 93-85. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Corbin Laisure , who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. Laisure is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Cross, who scored 18 points.
Daniel Boone's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Sullivan East, they bumped their record down to 5-5 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Daniel Boone will square off against Volunteer at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Volunteer is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Sullivan East will be home for the holidays to greet Gate City at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
