Freedom has gone a perfect 8-0 against Spoto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Patriots will take on the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Freedom is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Zephyrhills with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Freedom to victory, but perhaps none more so than Liahn Franco, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces Franco has posted since back in September.

Franco wasn't the only good servers: Freedom was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 22 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Spoto made easy work of Brandon on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Freedom's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Spoto, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Freedom took their victory against Spoto when the teams last played last Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
