Football Recap: Scottsboro Skates Past West Point with Ease + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Scottsboro walked away with it. They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 45-14 victory over the West Point Warriors. Considering the Wildcats have won six matchups by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Scottsboro's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colton Harding, who threw for 214 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes. Those three passing touchdowns gave Harding a new career-high. Jacobi Edmonson handled things on the ground, rushing for 86 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Scottsboro was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 208 rushing yards. They are 6-2 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Scottsboro has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for West Point, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, Scottsboro will square off against St. Clair County at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 872 yards in their previous games. West Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
