Basketball Game Preview: Philo Electrics vs. Zanesville Blue Devils

The Philo Electrics will challenge the Zanesville Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Philo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, Philo lost to Caldwell on the road by a 71-56 margin. The Electrics have struggled against the Redskins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Camden Stoner, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 15 points and eight rebounds. Talon Preston was another key player, going 6 of 13 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Zanesville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 57-51 to Meadowbrook. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zanesville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Philo, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
