Allen Park is a perfect 10-0 against Roosevelt since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Jaguars will head out on the road to square off against the Bears at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Allen Park 3.1, Roosevelt 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Allen Park barely beat Carlson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jaguars blew past the Marauders 13-6 on Thursday. Considering the Jaguars have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Melody Filipiak made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

Roosevelt pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Allen Park, their record is now 16-4.
Both Allen Park and Roosevelt just can't seem to miss. The Jaguars have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.6 hits per game. However, it's not like Roosevelt struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Allen Park was able to grind out a solid victory over Roosevelt when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
