Soccer Game Preview: Westminster Christian vs. Saint Andrew's

The Westminster Christian Warriors will challenge the Saint Andrew's Scots at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Westminster Christian heads in on the heels of a playoff contest last Tuesday. They fell just short of Palmer Trinity by a score of 2-1.

Westminster Christian's goal came courtesy of Carolina Escobio, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Saint Andrew's offense. They fell just short of St. John Paul II Academy by a score of 1-0 last Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Eagles are ranked 25th).

Westminster Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-5-3. As for Saint Andrew's, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.
