Diboll is a perfect 7-0 against Trinity since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Diboll Lumberjacks will face off against the Trinity Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Diboll took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Diboll who was credited with the victory. Diboll got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Madisonville's three.

Trinity is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Tuesday. They lost 6-1 to Westwood. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly five goals.

Diboll's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-1.

Diboll beat Trinity 2-0 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Diboll since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
