Basketball Recap: Athens Takes a Loss

Athens lost against Troy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Athens Red Hawks took a 69-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Troy Colts.

Athens' defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Troy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

Coming up, Athens will face off against Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Troy, they will challenge Seaholm at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Troy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
