Basketball Recap: Berean Christian Piles Up the Points Against Glades Day

There's no place like home for Berean Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They breezed by the Glades Day Gators to the tune of 68-30 on Friday. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bulldogs had established a 33 point advantage.

Berean Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaden Vasquez out in front who went 5 for 10 en route to 12 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Vasquez a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Matthew Wall, who went 7 of 9 on his way to 14 points and three steals.

Berean Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Glades Day, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11.
