Baseball Recap: Conway Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wheatland on Sunday, Conway came back down to earth. The Bears came up short against the Hollister Tigers on Sunday, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Saturday.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Hollister, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season.

Conway wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-4 win against Mansfield on the 11th. As for Hollister, they have also already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Wheatland on the 10th.
