Softball Recap: Turner Ashby Takes a Loss

Turner Ashby managed to slip by Broadway the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights lost 7-1 to the Gobblers on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

With the defeat, Turner Ashby broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-4. As for Broadway, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Turner Ashby will challenge William Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Broadway, they will face off against Spotswood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trailblazers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.25 runs per game on average), something the Gobblers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
