Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Hailey Bell and Fayth Hesselberg Lead Lodi to Victory

Lodi won the last time they faced Catholic Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Hilltoppers by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lodi took both sets by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9.

Lodi was led to victory by Fayth Hesselberg and Hailey Bell. Hesselberg had ten digs and three aces, while Bell had eight assists and five digs. That's the most aces Hesselberg has posted over her last nine matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Lodi was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive contests.
