Central Cambria came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Northern Cambria Colts 3-0. The Red Devils were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Colts, so the Red Devils were just returning the favor.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Central Cambria took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-12.

Erica Brouse paced Central Cambria's offense, picking up 13 kills. Brouse got some help from Riley Kauffman and her 19 assists. Katie Benko controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Central Cambria's victory bumped their record up to 20-3-1. As for Northern Cambria, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Cambria will take on Forest Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northern Cambria, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Purchase Line at 6:00 p.m.
