The Milton Panthers will square off against the South Warren Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Milton turned things around against Aletheia Christian Academy on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lions a 10-0 shutout. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 25th.

Saylor Melton made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Cade Burdette was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Brayden Barrow was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
