Basketball Recap: Chetopa Takes a Loss

Chetopa was the 29-21 winner over Marmaton Valley when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Chetopa Hornets were outmatched by the Marmaton Valley Wildcats and fell 62-24. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chetopa's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Marmaton Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

While Chetopa had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on January 3, 2025.
