Volleyball Recap: South River Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Broadneck Bruins, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seahawks of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

South River took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-20.

South River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Broadneck, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, South River will challenge Annapolis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Broadneck, they will face off against Arundel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
