Basketball Recap: Mcintosh Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

McIntosh won the last time they faced Millry, and Jakari Braggs did his part to make sure it happened again. The McIntosh Demons were the clear victor by a 68-42 margin over the Millry Wildcats on Tuesday thanks in part to Braggs, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 boards. Those 14 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Grant Horn was another key player, putting up 15 points and five rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

McIntosh is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points per game. As for Millry, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

McIntosh will square off against Southern Choctaw at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Millry, they will challenge Fruitdale at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Millry is facing Fruitdale at the right time seeing as Fruitdale is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
