Soccer Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 3-1 to the Cibola Cougars. Valley haven't had much luck with Cibola recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Valley's goal came courtesy of Naiyah Deschiney, who's now up to 11 this season.

Valley now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Cibola, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.

Valley has already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Del Norte on the 21st. As for Cibola, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against Volcano Vista on the 21st.
