Softball Recap: Gallatin County Comes Up Short

Gallatin County lost against Trimble County on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 14-1 to the Raiders. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gallatin County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Runyon, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. That double was Runyon's first of the season.

Gallatin County's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Trimble County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gallatin County will welcome Ludlow at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trimble County, they will take on Eminence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
